Jet skis and watercraft

Jet ski wraps, paint and protection

Full colour wraps, printed graphics, custom paint and ceramic coating for personal watercraft, done on the same two sides of the building as the cars, with the trailer to match.

What we do to a ski

A personal watercraft is a small fibreglass body with a hard life: sun, salt or lake water, and a trailer. Everything below is finish and film work, which is what this shop does all week.

  • Printed vinyl wrap: full colour change, graphics, numbers and sponsor layouts
  • Paint, including candy and pearl, when you want it permanent
  • Fade and oxidation corrected before any film or paint goes on
  • Scuffs, scratches and dock rash in the body made good
  • Ceramic coating over the finished surface
  • Matched sets, two or three skis done to the same design
  • The trailer, so the whole rig matches

Sea-Doo, Yamaha and Kawasaki hulls all come through the same way.

Wrapped on the restyling side, sprayed on the paint side

The shop runs as two halves of one building. Vasken built the restyling side, which is where wraps, chrome delete, film and Peel Clear live, and it is where a wrapped ski gets done.

If the answer is paint instead, it crosses to the other side of the building and into the booth with Armen, who owns the shop and sprays it himself.

You get both opinions from the same two people, which is why nobody here has a reason to talk you into the more expensive one.

What we don't do

  • No engine, jet pump, impeller or electrical work
  • No structural hull repair
  • Nothing below the waterline on a boat

Bodywork, finish and film. For the mechanical side, a powersports shop is the right stop.

Questions

Jet Ski Wraps, answered

Do you wrap jet skis or paint them?

Both, and they suit different things. A wrap gives you printed graphics or a colour change you can reverse, and it is the usual choice on a ski. Paint is the answer when the hull is faded or damaged and you want the finish corrected properly rather than covered up.

Will a wrap hold up on the water?

A ski is harder on film than a car is. Sun, water, loading and unloading, and a trailer at freeway speed all work against it. Cast film handles it well, but we will tell you straight what to expect from the finish you pick before you commit to it.

Do you work on the engine or the jet pump?

No. We do the bodywork, the finish and the film. Engine, pump, impeller and electrical work belongs with a powersports mechanic, and we would rather point you there than guess.

Can you do a matching pair, and the trailer?

Yes. A matched pair of skis and the trailer they sit on is a common job and it is the one that actually turns heads at the ramp. Send photos of all of it together and we will work it out as one piece.
